The Master arranged a super visit to the Foreign & Commonwealth Office. We were privileged to have Graham Holland as our guide - his knowledge of the building knows no bounds. We toured around the iconic rooms, including the Durbar Court, the India Office Council Room and the Locarno Suite. The afternoon tour was also able to go into the Foreign Secretary's office. Of course the visit would not be complete without meeting Palmerston, the FCO cat - he duly obliged.
We had an enjoyable lunch at the Red Lion in Whitehall, a popular haunt of Prime Ministers, MPs, journalists and tourists.
The visit was so popular we have had to run the visit four times!
