Visit & Supper - Dennis Severs' House
Wednesday 31 January 2018
Dress: Jacket & Tie

The Master's interest in social history is encapsulated in this fascinating visit to Dennis Severs' House in Spitalfields. Saved from the destruction of development, this Georgian town house, which still retains its original features including a medieval cellar, is a journey through London in one building. With exclusive access, our journey will begin with an introductory talk by the curator before each group explores the silent museum to discover its secrets and identify the social clues. After our journey, Guild members will retire to the King's Stores, a short walk away, to enjoy a hearty supper in their private dining room. Access to the house is limited and so there will be four start times of 5.00 pm, 5.20 pm, 5.40 pm and 6.10 pm and so please indicate which time would suit best.
