Reception & Dinner - Furniture Makers' Hall
Wednesday 24 January 2018
Dress: Black Tie
The Master has decided to start the new year with a reception and dinner in the Furniture Makers' Hall. Tucked away behind London Wall in Austin Friars, this intimate venue gives the atmosphere of a private dinner party. Built in 1882, Furniture Makers' Hall has many of the original Victorian features including an ornate oak staircase running through the centre of the building. Members will gather for a reception in the main hallway before sitting down to dine in the David Burbidge Room. As it is the Guild's first time in this unique venue, the Master has also invited the Master of the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers to join us and inform us of the Company's history, its works and their home.
