In line with the Master's theme for his year, he has decided to offer Guild members the beauties of the Peak District and Derbyshire. A world of contrasting natural beauty, with moors and dales, rivers, springs and caverns. The following day starts an interesting programme of events and activities beginning with a tour of the stunning Chatsworth House. There will also be the opportunity to visit Chatsworth's fabulous gardens as well as the renowned Chatsworth Country Show. Lunch and high tea will be served in the converted stables. That evening Guild members have been invited to dine with the Master Cutler of Hallamshire in his private dining room. The Hall, located opposite Sheffield Cathedral, is Grade II listed and the third on the site since 1638. It is regarded as one of the finest livery halls in the north of England. Prior to the Guild's reception, members will have the opportunity to be guided round this magnificent venue.
