Visit to Kew Palace & Gardens, & Lunch
Wednesday 6 July 2005
Dress: Jacket & Tie

This visit will start with a guided tour of the enchanting Kew Palace, once the home of King George III and his family. The palace is in the throes of being refurbished before being opened to the public in 2006, so we will be privileged to see much of the fabric of the building before it is covered by fittings and furniture. Then, after a light luncheon in the Pavilion Restaurant in Kew Gardens, members and their guests will be free to enjoy the wonders and delights of Kew Gardens at their leisure.
