Visit to Glyndebourne & Lunch
Wednesday 7 October 2015
Dress: Blazer / Jacket & Tie

The Master is delighted to include a trip to Glyndebourne in her programme. Members and their guests will be required to make their own way to Glyndebourne by car or to Lewes Station by train, and transport will be provided from there. Refreshments will be served on arrival, followed by an introductory talk about Glyndebourne. Lunch will be a 2-course meal with a glass of wine, after which we will take our seats in the theatre to watch the final dress rehearsal of Don Pasquale before the opera goes on tour. Tea and biscuits will be served in the interval, and everyone will be free to depart at the end of the performance (about 5.45 p.m.) There is no charge for watching the opera, so members are invited to add a donation to the Guild’s Charity to the ticket price and this will be donated to the Glyndebourne Arts Trust.

Price and booking information only available to members.
