Reception & Dinner - HQS Wellington
Thursday 12 September 2013
Dress: Black Tie

HQS Wellington is the last surviving member of the Grimsby class of sloops which served with distinction in World War II and has been permanently moored on the Thames since 1948. It is home to the Honourable Company of Master Mariners, one of the Livery Companies of the City of London. A floating Livery Hall, it does not move, except up and down with the tide! This is a unique location for a Livery style dinner, fine food, fine wine, fine company, all enhanced by an after dinner speaker, the Chairman of the RNLI Selsey Branch. On this occasion the Master would like to raise money for the RNLI, so please add a donation to your cheque when you apply to come. The total raised will be added to that collected in conjunction with Event No. 6 and presented to the Chairman of RNLI Selsey after dinner.
