Visit to the Queen's Gallery & Supper
Wednesday 19 September 2012
Dress: Suit / Jacket & Tie

As part of her programme to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee year, the Master has arranged a private visit to the Queen's Gallery at Buckingham Palace to enjoy a talk, a glass of wine and a viewing of the exhibits on show in the Gallery. The highlight will be the largest collection of Leonardo da Vinci's studies of the human body ever to be exhibited together. On Leonardo's death in 1519 the drawings remained a mass of undigested material among his private papers. Today they are among the Royal Collection's greatest treasures. After the visit to the Queen's Gallery members and their guests will be invited to take a short stroll to the prestigious Edwardian Suite in the nearby London St James' Crowne Plaza Hotel in Buckingham Gate for a delicious 3-course buffet supper.
