City Walk

City Walk & Light Supper (B)
Tuesday 10 June 2008
Dress: Casual

Peter Tompkins, a Past Chairman of the Society of Young Freemen, will be leading the City Walk once again. This year he will be taking us round one of the old favourites of the City, the City churches, mainly rebuilt by Sir Christopher Wren after the fire of 1666.

The Walks will begin at St Paul's Cathedral and we hope to take in St Faith, St Mary Aldermanbury, St Mary le Bow, St Lawrence Jewry, St Vedast, both St Bartholomews, Christchurch Greyfriards, St Sepulchre and finally St Martin within Ludgate. The Walks will end with light refreshments in a nearby wine-bar.

As in the past, Peter will be hosting the event at no charge, but has asked for a donation (of about £10.00 a person) to be made to the Lord Mayor's Charity Appeal (which will be made through the Benevolent Fund).

These two events will be identical. Please insert 5A/5B in the 'Event No' box on the Application Form if you would be happy to attend either one.

Price and booking information only available to members.
